This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed, rapidly growing team that offers inpatient and outpatient PM&R opportunities in neuro-rehabilitation. We are looking for Physiatrists with an interest in stroke, brain injury, MS, Parkinson’s and spinal cord injury. There is also an opportunity available to lead our expanding oncology rehabilitation program. Our regional health care system includes two rehabilitation hospitals (Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA), a new comprehensive oncology rehabilitation program to be embedded in a state-of-the-art cancer hospital, an innovative integrated spine program, and a network of ambulatory sites throughout central CT and Western MA. Our Joyce D. and Andrew J. Mandell Center for Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Care and Neuroscience Research is internationally recognized as a model for integrated care and research. Physiatrists play an important role as part of a team of MS neurologists and skilled MS certified therapists. As we recognize the center’s 10-year anniversary we are celebrating by opening two additional comprehensive centers, which together will form a multisite regional program.
